Who we are

What we collect
When you join a waitlist, reserve a unit, or rent from us, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The unit size you are interested in
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages
- Payment information, if you place a deposit or rent a unit
Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
What we do with it
- Tell you when units become available
- Hold a unit you have reserved
- Manage your rental and billing
- Answer questions you send us
- Send occasional information about our locations and services, if you have agreed to it
Text messages and your mobile number
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only by Heartland Storage Solutions and the service providers who deliver messages on our behalf. Those providers are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Who else sees your information
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Our payment processor, to take payments
- Our email and text messaging providers, to deliver messages you asked for
- Our storage management software, to manage your rental
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Waitlist information is kept until you ask us to remove it or until the location has been open long enough that the list is no longer useful. Rental records are kept as long as needed for business and tax purposes.
Your choices
- Email: every email has an unsubscribe link
- Text: reply STOP to any message
- Everything else: contact us and we will delete what we can
Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, the current version is always the one posted on this page.
